She-rel at Oportfolio worked her socks off to get the transaction over the line and was absolutely relentless. She was endlessly positive when I was in despair. I have no doubt that without her we would not have got to completion, that I would have lost my competitive mortgage offer and I would have had to obtain an offer at a much higher interest rate. The service was professional and my needs in terms of what I wanted from the mortgage were listened to and taken into account. The paperwork was mostly completed electronically (which is not my strong point) but it was a relatively straightforward process and staff were on hand to guide me through any tricky bits. Dave Mann02/01/2026Outstanding service from Jade, She-Rel and Molly. We were first time buyers so hadn't dealt with mortgages applications previously. The on boarding service was very straightforward and after enquiry we were given an intro call to discuss what the process would be and potential options. Once the process had started we were always kept informed of what was going on by the team and Jade was available to speak to via phone/videocall if we ever needed to discuss anything in more detail. Felt like the process was handled very efficiently from start to finish which was incredibly helpful given for stressful buying a house can generally be, it was one less thing to worry about. Molly and She-Rel have both been really good in helping us deal with the various paperwork and always responded to our emails quickly to answer any questions we had. We were recommended a mortgage provider and Jade took the time to explain the offer and repayment options in a lot of detail. Was also very good that at no point did it feel like we were being pushed into making a decision or urged to go with a specific provider - we knew we always had our options open to us. conanius03/04/2025I was recommended to get in touch with Oliver and the team at Oportfolio by a friend who had happily used them previously. I had a mortgage I needed to port, and a minor amount of additional borrowing required. However, I'd come up short with prior efforts elsewhere that had taken nearly 2 months. I have a slightly unconventional - but not uncommon - employment method and that was seemingly causing mass confusion. Oliver immediately grappled this and offered options I didn't know existed. It was clear the team at Oportfolio have an extensive network of key senior contacts at various financial establishments, and could quickly suggest options. As such, in parallel to reopening discussions with my existing lender, trying to salvage the port, the team put forward an alternate option and promptly got an AIP. The short version is, within 5 working days of instructing Oliver, I now have a fully agreed mortgage offer in writing with my current lender. This has quite literally saved us thousands. I appreciate this is a niche scenario and not everyone will get such immediate and impressive results, but I hugely regret not using Oliver sooner. At the same time as this was occurring, the team reviewed our protection policies, and identified we could get better cover at a lower price. Unsurprisingly, we're now progressing this. All the way through this I was left in no doubt things were in hand. Clear, concise and prompt responses to all communications. No fuss, no hassle. We're hugely thankful to the team.
